This has opened up conversations about whether or not Marvel Studios is setting up to tackle their own Spider-Verse film like Sony's animated film from 2018. It's been recently reported that the actor will reprise his role as Max Dillon aka Electro from 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in the untitled Spider-Man 3 starring Tom Holland.
